Our HISTORY

TITONI Windows has been forged in experience, time, trials, partnerships and success, the future is exciting and opportunities are vast.

  • In 1979 the Titoni Company was formed as Titoni Construction by Gregg Titoni in Northern California. Gregg, a second generation Italian carpenter who is to this day an influential consultant to the company and loving father to son and CEO Taylor Titoni. Taylor grew up working with his father Gregg doing many aspects of construction setting the foundation for the future. Gregg instilled into Taylor a work ethic of hustle, hard work, and quality. While Titoni Construction originally was a home remodel and custom home builder, it has transformed over the years into a multi-faceted window company specializing in the design, manufacturing and installation of custom window systems. In the late 1980’s Gregg began specializing in windows and doors. At the time, Taylor was in Jr High and would walk to the window and door shop to work for his dad learning a trade that he would one day use again.

  • Years later, while studying business in Shasta College, Taylor met and fell head over heels in love with his future wife and business partner, Stacy Bertolucci. The two lovebirds soon moved away to Sacramento and married. From there, the two continued their studies at Sac State and Folsom. Taylor, pursuing his studies in business and Stacy, pursuing her accounting degree. It was there in Sacramento, that Taylor began his professional career selling windows and doors.

  • In 2003, the newlyweds moved to San Diego to expand the Titoni Company with Taylor’s father, Gregg, as a vital partner and consultant. As the family business began to grow, so did Taylor’s education on the window and door industry. These first few years of business in the early 2000s established a comprehensive skillset on the window and door business that so few leaders within the industry possessed then and even now. With Taylor Titoni at the helm, his start-to-finish background on the industry and on specialty products like lift and slides and bi-fold doors, Titoni Built started to grow at a rapid pace; spreading from San Diego to major cities across the country like wildfire. At that time, very few people even knew what those types of products were, much less knew how to install them. It carved out a real niche in the market place with the specialized knowledge of such products.

  • It wasn’t until 2006, nearly 30 years after its founding, Titoni Built began to sell windows and doors direct as a compliment to their luxury installations. With partnerships from top window manufacturers, Titoni Built began building a client base that, to this day, still trusts and relies on Titoni Built as their window vendor.

  • While the 2008 financial crisis threw Taylor and Stacy into the most challenging period of their lives, from those ashes arose a stronger marriage, wiser business people, and a foundation for the future stronger than they could have imagined.

  • Almost a decade later, Taylor was introduced to OTIIMA, a global luxury aluminum window and door brand headquartered in Portugal. Almost immediately, the Titonis hopped on a plane to visit the factory where they would meet Jose Maria Ferreira, a man that would change everything for Stacy and Taylor. Mr. Ferreira, seeing the powerhouse that is the Titoni family and brand, entrusted the US market to Stacy and Taylor’s leadership. There, in 2016, Taylor and Stacy started OTIIMA USA. Since then, Titoni Built has partnered with OTIIMA USA to distribute, fabricate, and service the OTIIMA product line in the USA.

  • Currently, TITONI Windows and OTIIMA USA have employed 100+ team members. When describing TITONI Windows, it is often said “we are the horse power to the OTIIMA brand in the USA”. In addition to the distribution and fabrication of OTIIMA, TITONI Windows designs custom window systems like thin sight line curtain walls, brass clad storefronts, and interior windows and doors. “We like to think of ourselves as the Carrol Shelby to Ford or the Brabus to Mercedes” explains CEO Taylor Titoni. “We will find solutions for designers and architects that others are not willing to entertain. We are willing to design and make custom extrusions if that is what is required. Our customers do not want to build within a box. Architects like Rios, McClean, KAA, Woods Dangaran, and Daniel Chenin continue to rely on our assistance in order to accomplish their award winning designs. It is an honor for us to be part of that.”
